*does the no more Kloves Dance of Joy*
Link seems to not be working at the moment, but... no more Kloves? REALLY? *cheers*
I'll copy and paste the article if you want? Mugglenet has the news.
That'd be lovely, as I can't seem to find it.
FRom HPANA: According to Dark Horizons Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will begin production in April 2004 on a budget of $130 million.
It seems that Steve Kloves will have his hands full next year as he is directing his new film Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which will shoot in London next summer
Whoa, COOL! Thanks. *ponders who will write the screenplay gleefully*
according to Mugglenet. It's the guy who adapted Peter Pan. The recent version with Jason Issacs
Hm... I should really read the book Peter Pan to figure out how close that was to the original story, then, I guess....
I've given up all hope. OotP is just far too big to stay a bit in tact
If we're really lucky they might divide it into two parts. If we're really unlucky they might cut the story in favour of action sequences and special effects.
I have no doubt they'll butcher it... not to mention leaving out Neville's reaction to the Cruciatus Curse
*nods* Probably. Still, I'm going to hope that the removal of Kloves means things will get better, because the other possibility is hard to believe.
Shit. that was the wrong book *headdesk* in OotP it might only be the trio going to the Dep. of Mysteries.. Unless Jo fights for her characters... which she hasnt done before it seems like
*remembers Seamus blowing things up in PS/SS* *remembers Potions being conveniently skipped so that Lupin seemed to just be picking on the scared kid in PoA*
JK can't publically complain, of course, for money reasons, but it does seem that she's awfully cool about characters getting cut down and mixed up.
Long as it's not Hermione *covers mouth* Gee, Kim tell us how you really feel...
Honestly, Hermione will end up levitating Neville out if he goes on the rescue mission...
